Throughout Copper Connects Us, students will explore how copper is a natural resource essential for helping the world meet its future environmental, economic, and societal needs. This activity will explore the many ways copper is used and then create an infographic to visually represent how copper unites and connects us.

Copper and Energy

Grades 6-8

In this Copper Connects Us activity, students will create simple circuits to investigate copper’s conductivity in real life. It will also extend learning as students perform research to better understand exactly how copper and its conductive properties are used in sustainable innovations.

Grades 6-8

In this Copper Connects Us activity, students will deepen their understanding of Copper Leaching through a hands-on activity and discussion. Students will also extend learning by exploring copper innovations that improve sustainability, increase safety and efficiency, and advance technology.
